Womenââ¬â¢s Suffrage And Antisuffrage Samples â⬠MyAssignmenthelp.com
Question: Discuss about the Womens Suffrage And Antisuffrage. Answer: The essay talks about womens suffrage with the claim in the introductory sentence that womens rhetoric has been overlooked in the past centuries and the aim of the essay is to examine the history for womens suffrage and antisuffrage. The writer supports the claim by stating that men has enjoyed honorable rhetoric in history. However, the author has also given the argument that after dramatic reforms in the nineteenth century, women were also able to achieve unparalled success and they also became part of the public rhetorical history. The author also warrants the argument by further linking the argument with the sentence that the year 1920 witnessing women getting the right to vote (Paludi). The author further backs up his claim with the discussion that earlier, women were regarded as good for home related task only and perfect women were those who were purely domestic. Finally, the rebuttal for the topic has been well presented in the essay with the explanation regarding three forms of argument and the rational that all suffrage and anti-suffrage arguments has been presented mainly to protect the women (Samek). The turnitin report for the essay showed plagiarism upto 31% which means that citations from sources has not been done in an accurate manner. The review of the report gives me the lesson that certain terms need to be paraphrased instead of writing directly from the sources. Majority of plagiarism was also found in the section describing three types of arguments for the topic. Instead of writing them in a single sentence, this could have been presented by using different sentences too. Secondly, in terms of the analysis of essay paper done by classmate, I can say the arguments has been well-presented however the support for the essay topic can be further improved by using better qualifiers and linking words. Overall, the essay has been nice written with good arguments and rebuttal.
